After running around the entire day.. being my touristy best.. I was starving for a good Srilankan Fish and some soothing Ceylon tea!

Honest to God guys, Srilanka offers the best tea in the entireee world … I repeat entireee!

Me and my bestie strolled around the Kandy tooth Relic temple… for hours! Just as we got out of this serene evening prayer ceremony we spotted the Empire Cafe tucked away at this corner , right beside the Kandy post office

Empire cafe is very colonial in every sense of the word. With high chairs and outside seating to long community tables; every bit of timber used for the decor reminded me of the petit cafes around Mayfair’s, London
